Xbox Popularity Soars: Google Trends Highlights Top Regions from 2019-2024"

Publiktoday.com- Microsoft's flagship game console, Xbox, appeared a little late compared to other game consoles, especially made in Japan, such as PlayStation, SEGA or Nintendo.Even so, the prestige of Xbox is starting to be taken into account.

In this session we monitored the interest in the game console using Google Trends. Of course, this data will change over time, but knowing the current development is also helpful.

As is well known, tracking interest in Google Trends can map consumer interest in products. Although this interest does not lead to a purchase, the data shown by Google Trends can illustrate the popularity of the product in a region.

The monitoring results that we conducted on Wednesday (7/17) found that over the past five years (july 2019- january 2024) the greatest interest in Xbox came from Mexico. Overall, Xbox is quite dominant in North America. This can be seen from the composition of the top 5 interests in Xbox by region. Apart from Mexico, which is in first place, the United States and Canada are in third and fifth place. Meanwhile, the United Kingdom and Hungary are the European regions with the highest interest in Xbox.***
